Freedom2Surf Strikes Again With Launch of Lightning Connect 2Mb Broadband from £14.99

New 2Mb services smash through ADSL speed and price barriers

29 November 2004, London - Freedom2Surf, (www.freedom2surf.net) one of the UK's leading independent ISPs, has today announced the launch of Freedom2Surf Lightning Connect and Lightning Connect Lite, 2Mb broadband packages which offer customers mega fast broadband at an all time low price.

For only £14.99 per month (inc. VAT), Freedom2Surf Lightning Connect Lite gives customers a full broadband experience with an always-on connection and the ability to surf the Internet at speeds up to 40 times faster than dial-up. Lightning Connect has a 1GB download capacity, with the option of purchasing extra capacity as and when you need it. Customers can opt for a month-by-month contract for £14.99 per month and a £49.99 installation fee. Alternatively, users can go for a 12 month contract option and spread the cost of activation over 12 months for an extra £4.99 per month.

Freedom2Surf Lightning Connect has been launched for more experienced broadband users who require a greater capacity for downloading content. For only £19.99 per month plus £49.99 installation fee, customers have a 5GB download capacity and the capability to download thousands of music and video files. Customers can also opt for a 12 month contract with the cost of installation spread over the year at an extra cost £4.99 per month.

As part of the changes, Freedom2Surf are giving customers of other ISPs the opportunity to take advantage of these great new packages by offering free migration and free speed upgrade. This offer is for both the 12 month Lightning Connect and Connect Lite packages.
